D + C WRANGLES BOUTIQUE IN CALGARY

Just in time for Alberta Fashion week, DESIGN + CONQUER has scored a new store in Calgary! Located in Fashion Central in the heart of downtown, AG Silver Boutique has added D + C pieces to its arsenal of innovative designs. Owner and designer Joséluis Castillo curates the stunningly modern store, which carries hand made pieces from Canadian and Mexican designers.

On the prowl for some feisty D + C SS 2010 designs, Calgarians? Maraud on down to AG Silver Boutique, located on the corner of Stephen Avenue and First Street SW. The store is open Monday to Saturday 11 – 6 pm, and by appointment on Sundays.

D + C BOMBARDS BERLIN

Danke Schoen, ETSY! In celebration of its first international office, ETSY has selected DESIGN + CONQUER to exhibit its work in Berlin, Germany! Chosen from over one million members (only 25 exhibitors were selected), D + C will be exhibiting its Communicator and Big Bang earrings at the month-long show.

One of the largest and most well-known online marketplaces, ETSY showcases handmade and vintage goods from around the world.

ETSY's international office grand opening is on April 1st, with the DIY Fashion Exhibition running from April 1 – May 1. For more information, check out ESTY's blog here.

D + C BACKS INTERNATIONAL SPEED SKATING COMPETITION

In anticipation of the launch of its Fall/Winter 2010 collection later this month, and inspired by the Olympics, DESIGN + CONQUER will be sponsoring the Intact 2010 Finale! One of the most exciting speed skating competitions of the year, skaters from around the world will battle for up to $25,000 in prize money, and for one of three pairs of D + C SS 2010 earrings!

The Intact 2010 Finale will be held at the Calgary Olympic Oval March 16 – 21. Come watch elite athletes conquer world records, and check out D + C's display! For more information on the event, click here.
